Two issues with mobile site

hi simon, sorry i just thought of two more things:.

on the mobile version (i use android) i can't load images anymore, and when i could (months ago) they would only load in a very low, sometimes unusable resolution.

requesting a desktop version of the site in settings didn't work either, i had to go use a windows desktop.. also, all posts used to say how long ago they were written, but that often essential information no longer shows.. thanks..

Wow, it must be a different glitch for every individual phone model 😂

Well, Simon said he hopes to at some point release a new layout with an emphasis on being mobile friendly, so standardization should clear up a lot of these isolated quirks.

Altered Scriptures?

my spies tell me that the jobos recently had a broadcast where 2 scriptures have been changed.. luke 22.26you, though, are not to be that way.

but let the one who is the greatest among you become as the youngest, and the one taking the lead as the one ministering.. 1 tim 3:1this statement is trustworthy: if a man is reaching out to be an overseer,+ he is desirous of a fine work.

i don't have the tech to locate the broadcast right now.

The most significant thing out of the two that I notice is that it no longer says "office" of overseer, just overseer. Everything else isn't much different.

Maybe it's going over my head but what is the significance of these two scriptures being changed, what does it allow for?

I had these glitches on two different Android devices and one Windows Mobile. Never tried iOS

Suggestion for website, alerts for replies

hi simon, just wondering if in any future iteration of the site it could have a notifications spot, that tells you of any new comments in threads you've started and/or posted in kind of like facebook has, instead of having to go back and check each one manually which can cause you to miss replies.

Happy 1st PIMO Anniversary To Me: A Look Back

it was just about a year ago exactly that i really and truly decided in my mind where i stood and as rutherford would say "face the facts".

before that, there was a period of about two years where i almost felt like i had a dual personality, vacillating between pro and anti jw, a very confusing, draining mental state to be in.

and it all started over seven years ago in 2010, when i read "apostate" material on the internet.

Funny you mention that, working behind the counter as I do, I've tossed my fair share of literature 😂

I also try to work things into my talks and conversation, as well as be nice to disfellowshipped folks and discreetly greet them.
